Ingredients :

• 1 puff pastry

• 5 apples

• 125g salted butter

• 100 g fine sugar

Preparation :

• Preheat the oven to 200°C (th.6/7).

• Wash the apples and cut them into strips.

• Bring the pie tin to high heat and melt the butter in it. Add the sugar and let brown until you get a caramel.

• Arrange the apples in tight strips in the caramel, reduce the heat then cover.

• Cook for 20 minutes, until the apples soften and soak up the caramel.

• Unroll the dough and hermetically cover the apples with it. Insist well on the edges by tucking them into the mold.

• Bake for 40 minutes.
