 Duck breast with honey


For 4 people  Preparation: 20 minutes Cooking: 30 minutes


Ingredients :

• 2 duck breasts

• 3 cloves of garlic

• 3 tbsp. honey

• 2 tbsp. soy sauce

• 1 teaspoon of rice vinegar

• 1 teaspoon of star anise powder

• 1 teaspoon of ginger

• 1 pinch of cinnamon

• Salt and pepper

Preparation :

• Peel the garlic cloves, then chop them finely.

• In a large dish, combine the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, star anise powder, ginger and cinnamon.

Add salt and pepper.

• Add the duck breasts, mix well and leave to marinate for at least 2 hours in the fridge.

• Preheat the oven to 200° C (th.6-7).

• Slit the skin of the duck breasts into diamond shapes and bake for 30 minutes, sprinkling the meat from time to time with the marinade juice.

• Remove from the oven, cut the duck breasts into slices. Serve with rice and vegetables!
