How to prepare : Beef goulash



 Ingredients for 4 persons :

400 g chuck of beef, cut into pieces

400g potato

2 onions

2 carrots

1 clove of garlic

400 g crushed tomatoes

1 liter of water

1 beef stock cube

4 tablespoons of 5% fresh cream

1 bouquet garni

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt, pepper and paprika

Preperation :

Start preparing the beef goulash by peeling the onions and garlic, then chopping them. Heat the olive oil in a pan, then sauté the onions and garlic. Add the pieces of meat and brown them.

Add the tomatoes, bouquet garni, salt, pepper and paprika then pour the water, cover and simmer for 1 hour 30 minutes over low heat.

Peel and clean the potatoes and carrots, then cut them into cubes then add them to the contents of the casserole, cover and leave to cook for 20 minutes.

Add the fresh cream, and stir well, then serve the beef goulash hot.

Recipe 2 :  Vietnamese beef salad



Ingredients

  • Beef sirloin 250 g
  • Bean sprouts 150 g
  • Cucumber 1/2
  • Carrot 1
  • spring onions 4
  • Limes 2
  • Peanuts 50g
  • Nuoc-mâm 3 tablespoons
  • Garlic 1 clove
  • 4 sprigs coriander
  • Powdered sugar 1 teaspoon

Preparation of the recipe:

Scald the bean sprouts for 30 seconds then immediately run them under cold water and drain them. Peel and grate the carrot. Peel and chop the onions and cucumber.

  Grill the sirloin in a non-stick pan, 1 minute on each side over high heat. Mix the lemon juice, the nuoc-mâm, the pressed garlic, the sugar and 3 tablespoons of water.

Divide the soybeans, vegetables and meat into strips in bowls. Drizzle with sauce. Sprinkle with crushed peanuts and cilantro.
